W980 - Mouth watering! =)

Well, many of you mobile phone enthusiast would have probably have know of the newest addition to the Sony Erricson Walkman phone series. The W980, is probably one of its kind right now in the market.

Some of the key features of the W980 are the Walkman 3.0, FM transmitter, SenseME function, and its clamshell body. However, the W980 does bring soem dissapointment, unfortunately. The camera used is a 3.2 mega pixel with neither xenon flash nor auto focus. Furthermore, the lens position is also quite retarded according to reveiws. However, I think this only affects right-handed people. HeHeHe! Oh yeah, the FM antenna that supposed to be in the phone is now removed from the retail version. That sux now in'nit. Argh...




Man, I just can't wait for it to finally released into the market. I supposed it will come out in August or even September...

'Till then, the W980 has my eye fixed on it! =) W980 baby, HERE I COME!!!

Petronas EDUCAMP 2008

Well, I had the oppurtanity to attend the 2008 Petronas Educamp on the 20th to the 21st of April.

The venue was at Thronoh, Ipoh, Perak. It was at the University Teknologi Petronas (UTP). When I first saw the place, I was amazed. The place is freaking huge to the point that it is advisable to use a scooter or bicycle here...

Moving on...On the first day, at around 8am-10am, you have to register and receive room key. 2 people --> 1 room.

At around 10 am, the shuttle bus arrives to bring us the Chancellor Complex. This building is SUPER AMAZING!!! I wont say more as then it wont be a surprised...( I did not get a chance to get pics of it) Anyway, we went into the Chancellor Hall in the Complex to register officially. You will need all the documents, and then you will receive an Educamp name tag...

After all the participants was seated the hall, ( Parents are allowed to participate at this point also) the ceremony began from 10 -12. Then 12 is lunch. Parents are invited too. The food here is good or maybe above average to some of you.

For the next part of the camp, Parents are required leave the campus. At 2pm participants are required to go to the "Main Hall" for a physiological test. The test is at most 1 hour. After that, there will a short campus tour where participants will be broken into groups according to the chosen course. Soon it will be dinner time. After dinner, there will a 2 hours briefing of following days events.The facilitators will just roughly tell what is going to happen...so and so forth.10.30pm sleep time

2ND DAY

Wake up at 6.30am...get ready and wear formal attire. Eat breakfast and by 7.30 wait for the bus to take me to the interview. The interview procress got 2 parts :

1. Individual interview
2. Group interview

You will be given a general topic. For the individual interview, got 2 parts :

• Introduction - Name, Course chosen, family background, and co-curriculum
• The topic itself - give your points

For the group discussion : the topic is the same but the whole group must come to a same decision at the end.

After interview is lunch. Then is the TESTS time. 3 tests :

1. English - Easiest of the 3 - test on basic grammar, nouns, sentence structure
2. IQ (A) - quite ok.. still manageable
   
3. IQ (B) - Hardest of all 3, I respect u if you can finish ALL the question in the time. And no "hentaming" or "tikam-tikam"

After finish all the test.. Can go home and sleep.. ZZZ Good luck to all future EduCamp participants! ^_^

Go to START > RUN

Type GPEDIT.MSC

Navagate to USER CONFIGURATION >ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES >Click on DESKTOP,

On the right hand pane find " Remove Recycle Bin icon on the desktop " , double left click on it to ENABLE it.

Sorted!

Either use TweakUI or make the change manually in the registry.

JPA interview 2008

Well, I was lucky to be shortlisted for 2008 JPA interview. I applied for Engineering. The interview location was at Kluang, so it took me 2 hours(by car) to reach there.

I reached the campus at around 12.30. The scheduled interview time was at 2/2.30pm. While waiting I hang around with my schoolmate(hehe) and also got to meet a few other people. At 2, the interviewees(myself as well) went to wait in front of the interview rooms. We were broken into groups, 3 Panels. In 1 Panel, then there will 2 groups. Then i just wait...

So around 3.30, it was my group's turn. Went inside the interview room. Got 2 people, 1 lady 1 man.(oh ya, my group got 5 people). When we all seated, the man greeted us, then he said why don't we sing negaraku? (in Malay) I LOL. so after singing, we started to introduced ourselves. After introduction, he gave 1 topic, What is our best achievement? Basically we 1 by1 say our achievement. Not really a "group" discussion... Later, the man ask us some general knowledge question(mostly related to politics, current affairs). Then, the interview is done. We all say bye and thank you and leave the room.

After that, I proceed to go home... That's all. Good luck all to you!
