Last Sunday, I went to dinner with my classmates and my Oral Communication Lecturer, Miss D. It was a long time since a had steamboat so I got my self "prepared".

Anyway, the place is call Flaming Steamboat. It is directly beside Sunway Piramid, Subang Jaya. The food there was scrumptious. YUM -YUM
I think i ate alot but... after evaluating , I found that I did not really ate what I expected to eat. =(

Nevertheless, I did what I had to do.

For my appetizer, I ate marshmallow with chocolate sauce that was flowing was a mini-fountain. Love it! I kept gobbling down those sweet things of pleasure. ooh~ heaven~

for the main course, I simply are sea-food : Fish ball, crab stick, more fish and crab. I ate chicken ham and chicken ball. Vegetables were present too, so I grabbed them. There were 4 choices for drinks, namely mango juice, orange juice, longan and watermelon(?) ( i forgot the last one). For dessert, I had vanilla ice-cream topped with the sweet, sweet chocolate sauce. Ahh~
But there were also other flavors of ice-cream too : Yam, chocolate chip, strawberry, vanilla berry ,i think.

The main rule for having steamboat is to :
Just dumped everything in. You just take your raw items and dumped them in the steamer. Wait for 5 minutes, and its time to eat! Hoo-ray~

My classmates, Austinians, sure had their time of their lives. We were having an actual revelry. I think we made some real noise pollution. Furthermore, Last Sunday was also the birthday of one of my classmates, Sui ying. She really put a heck of a performance that night.

The wacky, as in the title, started to begin about the time we sang the "Happy Birthday" song. After that, we gave Sui ying, the birthday girl, a drink that contains the most unbelievable stuff. For example, the drink had chili, ice-cream, soy sauce, pepper, salt, a little juice, water and lots lots more. Sui ying drank the entire thing ,man. Whew. I chocked.

Later, one of other classmates, Mr. Sha smeared cake on Sui ying's face. "Om my gosh" , I thought. In return, Suiying gave a big...... fat .... helping of cake to Mr.Sha. Not to his mouth but on his face, especially his forehead. Sui ying only said one word for her comment. "Bugger!" retorted Sui ying angrily.

Anyway, after dinner our class went into photo frenzy, snapping everything and anything they could snap on. They snapped gay shots, lesbian shots, obscene shots and crazy shots. Well, that Austin for ya.

Tootles~

Boys stuff? Give me a break!

Recently i was in need of watch for the exam at my college. So, when i went back home, my sister had 2 watches : 1 Casio and 1 other watch. This other watch had no impressive brand. But i loved it. I loved the clubs design and the black and white alternations. My mum told me that was supposedly a 'girls watch'. But, what the heck did I care. Heck i loved this watch because its a girls watch.

I find that girls stuff are more pretty and colorful compare the boys stuff.

Lets take wallets for example. Boys (or men's) wallets are always black or brown. Maybe some funkier ones have a small logo. I hate these wallets. But girls wallets are always so vibrant and are in a variety of colors. More than one time I am tempted to buy girls wallets.

I even like the color pink. I don't really like black or dark blue 'cuz its so dull. Pink on the other makes me feel relaxed or at eased .

Not only that, in all online games that I play, I will always pick a female character. Don't take me as a pervert or anything, but i find the female costumes, attire and fashion over 10 times better than those of the male. ( Also the girl characters are always sexy... He He)

The Present...

The sun shone brightly on a cloudless Saturday afternoon. My family and I went on a road trip to Ipoh. At the start of the journey, we were all animated that we could go on a little vacation in a long time. However, we were not expecting this trip to get a little 'rough'.

It all started when we were approaching the midpoint of journey. All the vehicles started to mysteriously slow down. I strained my eyes to see what the cause of this scenario was. Slowly, the cause showed itself. It was a horrible accident. I winced and my heart skipped a beat. My mother was utterly horrified. My father, on the other hand, parked the car at the road-shoulder; then he alighted, and rushed to the scene of the accident to lend a helping hand. My mother pulled herself together and went after my father.

As I peered out of the window, I observed many people rushing to, in whatever way they can, help the victims. All of the victims were very badly injured. One of them was even saturated in blood. I felt sorrowful. My father and mother made a few trips to the car to get some supplies such as towels and water. The victims' car was upside down; hence, some men turned the car right side up and moved it to the side of the road. It was a terrible fiasco. Soon, the ambulance arrived (I have to say that the ambulance came very quickly). My family decided that we should probably leave and leave the rest to the professionals.

While my family and I drove away, I incessantly observed the accident until it disappeared into the horizon. For the rest of the journey, I began to ponder on the disastrous accident. My father told me that some of the drivers saw the victims' car suddenly went out of control. The cause of that was still obscure. For the whole journey, I could not take my mind off that incident. The whole accident felt so surreal. How can an accident take place as quickly as a blink of an eye? I was in state of disbelief. Can life be so unexpected?

Glancing out of the window, I saw the palm and rubber trees whisked away out of sight. The sky was still bright and cheerful; a total antithesis of the recent accident. It dawned on me that life, generally, is journey of unexpectedness. Life is full all changes that we can never control. Having reached our destination, I resolve to appreciate the present more as I can never predict future and what happen in the past cannot be undone; in other words, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

Want help for US ApplicationZ? Search no further...

So, you pulling your hair over the complexity of the application to USA's universities? Well, I have received an email that contains a link that expounds on this subject.
Suffice to say, this blogger has really put a lot of effort and went the extra mile to explain the details on the little things that really have a significant impact on your application.

Here's a small (small,small , small) part on the post :
"the forms and requirements differ across the schools, but most schools use the Common App, plus an additional school-specific supplement. for the purpose of this walkthrough, i’ll be referring mostly to the Common App, but forms from schools that don’t use the Common App (eg University of Chicago, Columbia) should be similar anyway.
before i begin, i want to say that my walkthrough should not be read as a sure-fire way of guaranteed acceptance into the Ivy League or your choice of schools. it should be read as a guide written by someone who has learned the ropes of the app process, and it is up to you to extract from this walkthrough what is relevant to you, and then apply it to your own application. the most important thing to remember is that your application is all about YOU. what worked for me and my friends may not work for you, and vice versa. so it is crucial for you, as an applicant, to be discerning enough to pick out from this walkthrough the tips that will complement your application, and discard those that do not. remember that all successful applicants have very different kinds of applications, and that there is no one formula that is ‘the way’ to go."
