Ambivalent feelings...

So, as it so tragically happens, I lost my previous handphone. Contacts, applications, songs, pictures, etc , you name it, all gone with the 'wind' ( or more appropriately gone with the bus ).

However, I was already planning to buy a new phone anyways. So I did. As of now, I have the Sony Erricson W980 in my clutches. Sony Erricson really proclaimed that this phone was super high-end.

Having a reputation as a Walkman phone, the W980 is said to be the best in music quality. However, I think otherwise. Playing my music on speaker mode, I find that speaker does not produce any bass. I normally play techno/trance songs, so I am a little disappointed, unfortunately. Even on the supposedly "bass" equalizer, the songs still sounds the same.

Nevertheless, this phone really and truly tickles my aesthetic sensibility. The design of this phone is awesome, unique and superior. (hehe) I always wanted to have a flip phone and now I do.

The FM transmitter works as it supposed to. I could play my songs on another handphone and the radio. Great tool to bewilder your friends. Lulz

The touchscreen on the exterior of phone looks very exquisite. Works wonders. The light that flashes with the rhythm of the music is very eye-catching indeed.

light-flashing FTW!

All in all, I have to say that this phone is not really worth the money right now. Maybe in two or three months, when the price drops to just below Ringgit Malaysia (RM) 1000, then it is worth it.

So, that's all folks. I'm off to re-obtain all of my lost contacts and appz. Wish me luck. C ya.
